National Analytics, Inc. was tasked
by Great Basin Scientific, Inc.
(GBS) with developing an automated
software package used in
rapid diagnostic testing for the
Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus
aureus (MRSA)
strain.
Using
advanced techniques in embedded
systems integration, National
Analytics, Inc. was able to design a
sophisticated interface used in
developing an automated disruptive
technology platform that promises
accurate, point-of-care results and
comes at a lower cost than the
industry standard.
Our 60+ years of combined integration
and automation experience allowed us
to respond to and support the
demanding process requirements of
the system.The result was a
simple, versatile, and inexpensive
diagnostic testing platform which
incorporates an integrated
disposable cartridge containing all
necessary reagents and an
inexpensive bench-top analyzer that
executes the assay, interprets the
results and provides electronic
output to the clinician.
